Fitlife Foods, (FLF) is an organization all about serving the best in healthy prepared meals. FLF helps people save time, gain energy and lose weight by visiting and grabbing freshly prepared healthy meals, whether grabbing one meal a day or meals for the week. Customers of FLF can start a 7, 14 or 21 Day Project and meet with a wellness coach to get meals for that designated period of time. FLF offers breakfast, lunch and dinner meals and snacks that are the perfect balance of high fiber, low glycemic carbs, lean protein and healthy fat. FLF also offers vegetarian, low carb and gluten free meal and snack options.
Business Challenge
FLF was looking to develop both a labeling system and proprietary calculation database and guide for their internal culinary team. Because of the unique nature of FLF and their business operations, it was a challenge to organize their data in one central location as they have 4 locations, each with their own culinary staff.
Solution Provided
Extensitech developed a solution for FLF based on xBase, Extensitech’s base solution. The solution built helps FLF reduce the number of man hours for daily tasks like printing labels. The solution has also helped save money by reducing the waste in the culinary center due to the calculation database and culinary guides. The solution also have an inventory calculator to help track inventory received, stock used for recipes, etc. which can be broken down by unit of measure. FLF has commented that their solution has helped educate the team to improve the consistency of the cuisine and business.
